Let Us Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, asking that You bring forth a harvest—not only for me, but for my family, my friends, my church, and all those quietly waiting for Your favor. Lord, make a way for each person reading this prayer. Reveal to us how to love deeply and minister faithfully to those in need.

Thank You, Father, for Your countless wonders. Thank You for the grace and favor You’ve poured into my life. Thank You for shining Your light on our ministry at Williams Chapel CME Church.

This is our prayer, Lord. We trust You to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.

Amen.

The Power Of An Invitation

WE KNOW IT WORKS…

  • God and Jesus extended the invitation—and souls were saved.

  • The disciples extended the invitation—and lives were transformed.

  • Today, most people come to Christ because someone invited them.

NOW LET’S PUT IT TO WORK…

  • Invite someone to worship with you.

  • Invite someone to study the Word.

  • Invite someone to respond to the gospel.

  • And never stop inviting—because every soul matters.

Celebrating Jesus in Word

Mark 8:34–35

"Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me..."

Description: Jesus calls us to a life of surrender and discipleship. Following Him means letting go of self-centered pursuits and embracing the path of sacrifice, service, and spiritual purpose. True life is found not in preserving comfort, but in giving ourselves fully to Christ and His mission.

Application Question: What part of my life am I holding onto that God is asking me to surrender so I can follow Him more fully?

Matthew 28:18–20

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..."

Description: This is the Great Commission—Jesus’ charge to His followers to spread the gospel, make disciples, and teach His ways. It’s not just a command for pastors or missionaries, but for every believer. And He promises His presence as we go.

Application Question: Who in my life needs to hear the good news of Jesus, and how can I actively share it with them this week?

Proverbs 8:17

"I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me."

Description: Wisdom speaks here, reminding us that intimacy with God begins with intentional pursuit. Seeking Him early—whether in the day or in life—opens the door to deeper understanding, guidance, and love. God honors those who prioritize Him.

Application Question: How can I make seeking God a priority in my daily routine, rather than a last resort?
